Acid Calculator

Acid Calculator can assist the winemaker in correcting the acidity (TA) level of wine. The winemaker simply defines the method of raising or lowering TA, the existing and desired TA levels, and batch size. The calculator will then calculate the additions needed to bring the wine to the desired TA level.

Amphora Wine Log

Amphora Wine Log is a powerful application that is used to track and manage the winemaking process. It is a winemaking log with advanced data storage, management, and presentation capabilities. Amphora Wine Log is very sophisticated software, yet is very simple to use, and has features that the most advanced winemaker will appreciate, such as user-defined database queries, reports, and charts.

Amphora Wine Log has been designed to appeal and be accessible to both the home and professional winemaker. In addition to the many home winemakers, Amphora has been installed in over 450 commercial wineries and vineyards in more than 30 countries around the world.

Amphora Wine Log is available in two major versions: Basic and Professional. Amphora Basic provides the core features required to track the winemaking process. Amphora Pro builds on Amphora Basic by incorporating many requests that have been received from professional winemakers. Hydrometer Corrector

Hydrometers are calibrated for a particular temperature (usually 60F or 68F). Readings will be inaccurate if taken at a temperature that is different than the calibrated temperature. This calculator will determine the corrected reading based on temperature. It supports readings in either specific gravity or brix and will work for hydrometers of any calibration.

Molecular SO2 Calculator

Total free SO2 levels in wine are easily measured by the winemaker. However, molecular SO2 levels are more difficult to measure directly. It is the molecular SO2 that is responsible for protecting wine against spoilage. This calculator will determine the molecular SO2 level of wine based on the measured free SO2 level and pH.

Online Wine Log

The online wine log is a web-based application that is used for recording winemaking events. Information such as measurements, additions, rackings, notes, and inventory can be recorded. In addition, a report generator is included so that reports can be easily created and printed in a variety of formats. You can then access your winemaking records from any computer in the world that has an internet connection and a web browser.

Specific Gravity-Brix Table Generator

This is a simple table generator that creates a table for converting between specific gravity and brix. No user input is required, just click the link and a table will be generated. The table can then be printed and used as a reference.

Sulphite Calculator

Sulphite Calculator can assist the winemaker in calculating the correct amount of sulphite to add in order to achieve desired SO2 levels in wine. Many tables have been devised for this purpose, however these tables are relatively inflexible in that each table is normally designed for particular sulphite forms (e.g. 10% potassium metabisulphite solution). These tables may or may not correspond to the practices of the individual winemaker. With Sulphite Calculator, the winemaker can precisely define the sulphite source, sulphite form, and batch size. The software can then calculate the exact amount of sulphite required in order to obtain desired SO2 levels.

Sulphite Table Generator

Tables are often used as a reference when adding sulphite to wine. However, existing tables are static and may not meet the preferences and precision desired by the winemaker. This table generator allows the winemaker to enter his or her preferences in order to generate a custom table. The table can then be printed and used as a reference.
